Nationally inspiring kids since 2018

STEM & Buds is a for-youth, by-youth 501(c)(3) bridging students to mentors, shaping ideas into initiatives, and translating science for civics. We try to make STEM—and its issues that affect us—participatory and accessible for all. For more information regarding our national reach and mission, please visit our national website below.

We're in Aurora!

Our chapter focuses on exposing elementary and middle school students to diverse STEM topics through hands-on applications. Then with the support of their mentors, students reflect on their identities and interests to create their own STEM-based project which they will share at the end of the program. Our free sessions are held at the Aurora Public Library District (Eola Road Branch). Please check the schedule and sign up below for program information and session dates!

Schedule

Throughout the school year, we meet biweekly on Mondays. Our Google Calendar is a great place to check out future session dates and topics!

Our Summer Camp

Every year, we host a completely free summer camp focused on having a ton of fun and meeting friends while learning STEM! This multi-day program is filled with activities, projects, and competitions!
